What is it + What does it do?: A lightweight, creamy SPF50+ PA++++ Sunblock that aims to moisturise + hydrate the skin through the use of multiple forms of Hyaluronic Acid. There is a patented DERMA ENHANCER SYSTEM™ which is meant to help deliver the active ingredients into the skin.
Supposedly Good for: All Skin types including Sensitive Skin + Dehydrated Skin.
What I think: I would agree, even my Sensitive, Oily-Combination Skin can use this SPF. BUT I do think overall, Sensitive-Dehydrated skins will prefer this product the best, but Combination and Normal Skins will enjoy this the best.
Vegan?: No
Cruelty Free?: Yes
How long does it last after opening?: 12 Months
Packaging: Plastic tube with a screw-top lid that clicks shut. No spillage or leaking. The product doesn’t shoot out either.

Directions: Apply after cleansing + basic skincare (apply the proper amount to the entire face). Gently dab for better adherence, and apply another layer for added protection.
How I use it: I apply in the AM, even before my workouts. It hasn’t been irritating to wear while exercising. It’s not difficult to re-apply and also doesn’t take ages for this to dry down/absorb.

Texture: The company describe this as a lotion-type texture and I would agree. This is more of a cream, particularly the way this dries down, BUT it doesn’t make the skin feel heavy/like it can’t breathe. It adheres to the skin and dries down relatively quick. The water absorbs into the skin, and you’re left with the silicone base that forms a film over the skin. It’s not too heavy and it’s not uncomfortable, but it is present (if I scratched my skin, it would ball up under my nail). It doesn’t totally disappear/absorb.
Sticky?: The company claims this isn’t sticky and I would agree.
Greasy?: The company also claims that this isn’t greasy and I would also agree.
Balls up?: My clothes don’t make this ball up, but if I specifically itched my skin once this had dried down, then yes.
Does this turn milky if you sweat?: No.
Does this sting the eyes?: No.

- As you can see, this initially looks like an opaque cream, but as the product is rubbed in more, I hope you can see how hydrating it is. It has a Silicone + Water base, which means once the water has been absorbed/dries down, you’re left with a silicone base that still carries some weight to it, but it doesn’t feel so heavy that the skin feels like it can’t breathe, it’s still comfortable, but it’s present.

- The more you rub this product, the more the white disappears. Upon first contact, it feels hydrating. It’s easy to spread this along the skin.

- As you can see from the finish, this does not have a white cast

- This doesn’t have a greasy or shiny finish.
Side-By-Side Comparison:

- Hopefully you can see the slight silicone-base this product has which gives it some weight. But this is still breathable and lightweight.

Does this Sting if the Skin has been Irritated / Sensitised by Shaving/Heavy Retinol Use?: Yes (most Chemical SPFs will).
Summer or Winter?: Both are suitable as this feels hydrating. I do think those with Oily Skin in Hot and Humid Weather may find this a tad bit too thick (but that is for extreme conditions).
Layerable?: Yes
Video Swatch:
As you can see, this has an almost watery-cream gel effect when rubbing into the skin. Once dried down, this does form a silicone-based film on the skin that feels fine but will ball up if you scratch your skin.
Fragrance?: Contains Fragrance. Has a typical beach-type SPF scent (not horrible, but it’s there) .
Good Under Makeup?: Yes
How long have I been using this?: 2 Months (daily-use).
Will I use until Completion?: Yes
How Long will that take?: Another 2 Months
The Effect?: Hydrating + Moisturising effect with no white cast and sun protection.

What I like:
- Hydrating/Moisturising
- The skin can breathe
- Cruelty-Free
- No White Cast
- Didn’t irritate my Skin
What I don’t like:
- Fragrance
- Will ball up once fully dried down and I itch/rub my face.
- The silicone base is noticeable once the product has dried down and the water has been absorbed
Overall Rating and Conclusion: 4 (Nearly 3.9) / 5 – A Hydrating + Moisturising, No-white cast SPF. The Inclusion of Fragrance (and alcohol) isn’t ideal for me, and this does form a thicker finish than something like the previous Missha Aqua Sun Gel Formula (due to the silicone base), but it is a Hydrating Cream that hasn’t irritated my skin.
Would I repurchase?: Yes
Dupe?: The Isntree Hyaluronic Sun Gel: LINK (Review LINK) and the Face Republic – Purity Sun Essence (LINK) – this is slightly lighter in texture. A slightly creamier (thicker) SPF for Dry Skins is the Garnier Anti-Dryness SPF (Review HERE). The Beauty of Joseon SPF is also a good dupe: LINK.

My Skin Type: I am acne prone and have slightly dehydrated combo skin. My skin is usually tight where the cheeks and eye area is and the outer parts of my face. My T zone is oily. My skin isn’t a fan of thick/heavy formulas so I opt for lightweight formulas to prevent it from clogging up. My skin doesn’t like essential oils either and I try to avoid fragrance when I can.
