Price: £25.92 (it is important to note that the propolis ampoule from lee geeham is £22 for 15ml)
Volume: 30ml
Who’s it for?: Dehydration / acne prone skin and even sensitive skin (not EXTREMELY sensitive skin)
Directions: After cleansing and toning, apply over the face.
How I use it: After cleansing and toning, after very thin/watery serums as this is slightly thicker.

Notable Ingredients: Contains 2 polyphenols (Antioxidants): Catechin and Quercetin. The Propolis Extract is taken from a Volcanic area in France. Additionally, this is supposed to be a high percentage of Propolis in a skincare product.
-These aim to nourish the skin. Propolis is obtained from honeycomb. Reduces skin inflammation, reduces pigmentation and increases skin moisture. Zinc PCA and Houtuynia Cordata extract are antibacterial. Also contains HA, Panthenol and Betaine (moisturising ingredients)
-Other notable ingredients: Witch Hazel and Turmeric, Lactobacillus ferment and glycerin.
Free from: Fragrance (including essential oil), Colourants and Cruelty-free
Full ingredients: Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Propolis Extract, Glycerin, Propanediol, Isopentyldiol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ocimum Sanctum Leaf Extract, Corallina Officinalis Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Punica Granatum Fruit Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Panthenol, Perilla Frutescens Extract, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Lactobacillus Ferment, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Butylene Glycol, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Betaine, Xanthan Gum, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, Zinc PCA, Pantolactone

Texture: THIN (gel-like). It is just a tad thicker than the Dr Jart Cicapair Serum but it is still a very light ampoule. Not sticky at all. Absorbs well into the skin.

Fragrance: None
What I like:
- Helped with hydration
- Helped with moisturisation
- I like that there are antioxidants
- Helped speed up the recovery of a popped pimple
- Didn’t ruin my skin
- Didn’t exacerbate my acne
- Good for my oily skin
- Very light texture – great for my skin type
What I don’t like:
- No big difference to the skin
- Didn’t reduce acne
- It’s a bit pricey
Conclusion: Not a bad ampoule. I have heard that this left some people with more blackheads/clogged skin, but this didn’t seem to do that on me. This didn’t clear or reduce acne, it simply did not exacerbate it. And it did hydrate my skin.
Overall Score: 3.5/5
Would I repurchase?: No. Just because the Skin Food propolis serum is a cheaper and larger dupe.
