[Video] Bubble Skincare – Swatches + Review

Hey Guys!

I received some products from the American Teen Skincare Brand Bubble, and I wanted to give my HONEST opinion and review of these products in case anyone was interested in these products.

So in this Youtube video, I swatch the products and do a live demonstration so you can see the textures and how the products sit on the skin.

I also break down the ingredients and discuss who these products are mainly aimed for and I also discuss some alternative products and dupes.

I hope it’s useful!

This is the Specific Oily-Combo Set I received: HERE

The Products + My Thoughts:

Bubble Fresh Start Gel Cleanser: HERE

My Thoughts: Not a bad Gel Cleanser. It does foam up and is also quite decent at makeup removal (not marketed as a makeup remover btw). I really like the secure cap + the sturdy packaging (actually I like the sturdy packaging of all these products).

Dupe: A good dupe is the Jelly Joker from Geek and Gorgeous HERE (it’s unscented/unfragranced).

Or the Glossier Jelly Cleanser HERE

And if you want to see the texture + cleansing capability of them, please check out the Youtube video below.

Bubble Bounce Back Refreshing Toner: HERE

My Thoughts: Definitely lightweight and refreshing (because it’s in a mist). Wasn’t sticky or tacky and didn’t take forever to absorb into the skin. I would like it much more if it didn’t have the essential oils (just a personal preference). Also I’m not sure if I’m 100% sold on toners in a mist form? I’m not sure if it would waste more product or not. Also I’m someone that likes to swipe my toners across the face to remove excess dirt – but I do understand that a mist toner would reduce waste caused by cotton pads so I’m sure that’s why the company opted for a mist toner.

Dupe: The Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner contains Anti-sebum properties which means it is also anti-shine and aims to reduce sebum production. My review is HERE + Purchase link is HERE

Bubble Level Up Balancing Moisturiser: HERE

My Thoughts: Probably my favourite product from the line up. It’s a nice water-based gel moisturiser which hydrated the skin and feels refreshing. The flip top cap is great and the hygienic pump mechanism is useful. Didn’t seem to irritate my skin AND it’s unfragranced/unscented. Also I like the addition of Niacinamide in here for oil control.

Dupe: In terms of texture, I think the I’m from Rice Serum (It’s definitely more like a cream) is a good dupe and it also contains Niacinamide HERE.

In Terms of having both Niacinamide + Zinc PCA, the Geek and Gorgeous B-Bomb Serum is a dupe: HERE And My Review is: HERE

Products Mentioned:

  • Slam Dunk Hydrating Moisturizer (For Dry Skins): HERE (definitely thicker and creamier).
  • Missha Aqua Sun Gel: My Review HERE (Out of stock atm but a good dupe is the Milk: HERE )
  • The Inkey List Peptide Moisturiser: HERE (Not my favourite cream)

Dear Klairs Fundamental Gel Cream: HERE

Dear Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream: HERE

So Overall, not a bad brand – the demographic is more geared toward teens, so I can understand that the products are quite simple/basic to simply maintain youthful skin. I do think I would enjoy their products more if they left out the essential oils/fragrance. But the textures are nice, I did like the oily-combo bundle for the textures.

My Skin Type: I am acne prone and have slightly dehydrated combo skin. My skin is usually tight where the cheeks and eye area is and the outer parts of my face. My T zone is oily. My skin isn’t a fan of thick/heavy formulas so I opt for lightweight formulas to prevent it from clogging up. My skin doesn’t like essential oils either and I try to avoid fragrance when I can.
