[Video] Dear Klairs Fundamental Water Gel Cream VS Midnight Blue Calming Cream – Swatches + Review

Hey Guys!

I recently made a Youtube Video discussing two creams from the K-Beauty Brand Dear, Klairs which is the Midnight Blue Calming Cream and the Fundamental Water Gel Cream.

I wanted to swatch, compare and review these products – to understand who they would be suited for, what the ingredients do and how they are similar or differ from each other as well as what they do.

Check below for the video AND more information is further down below 🙂

Dear Klairs Fundamental Water Gel Cream: HERE

  • I adore Gel creams, I find them very easy to use and hydrating. I prefer water over oil, so a transluscent gel cream containing both oil and water works for me!

  • NOTE: Information on EGFs + Controversy: HERE
  • There reason why I mention EGFs is that the Blue cream contains them. There is controversy surrounding them however, so I have included a very good summary written by the folks over at the Incidecoder.

This cream is a lot more thicker – aimed more as a spot treatment and/or a moisturiser for more dry skins. I have combo skin and am able to use this in the PM (but not during hot weather).

My Review! HERE

My Skin Type: I am acne prone and have slightly dehydrated combo skin. My skin is usually tight where the cheeks and eye area is and the outer parts of my face. My T zone is oily. My skin isn’t a fan of thick/heavy formulas so I opt for lightweight formulas to prevent it from clogging up. My skin doesn’t like essential oils either and I try to avoid fragrance when I can.
