I wanted to show you what I received from COSRX – this is their new Cica Line! They’ve got a whole range of product categories so I feel like there would be something for everyone!
These products are aimed at sensitised and reddened skin. But of course regular skins could enjoy, I wouldn’t say the whole line is aimed at dry or oily skins as there is a mix and match of products that would suit either or both skin types.
All these products contain Pinus Pinaster Bark Extract which apparently acts as an antioxidant and is anti-inflammatory.
The main thing is the Cica-7 Complex which is included in each product. The Cica-7 Complex are 7 Cica-related ingredients such as Madecassoside, Centella Asiatica and So on! (I list them all in the video)
In this video I swatch, give my first thoughts and impressions as well as discuss the ingredients of each product and how one could or should use them!

Now this cleanser is stated to be low pH but I can’t seem to find the pH, I’m hoping it’s 5.5 as that is a good pH to respect the skin’s barrier and not irritate it.
It does foam up and personally I’m not the biggest fan of foaming cleansers as I find it dehydrates my skin HOWEVER I know many people enjoy the foaming up experience, so this could be one for you!
Pure Fit Cica Toner: Purchase Link HERE
Right up my alley in terms of that lightweight, water texture. It feels hydrating and extremely light. Great for those living in hot and humid weathers.
Pure Fit Cica Serum: Purchase Link HERE
Now this is thicker than the toner, this I would say dry skins would enjoy more. But both are hydrating. Also really like the feel of this but the toner is my favourite.
Pure Fit Cica Cream: Purchase Link HERE
For those with oily skins I would say as it does have a base of silicone which I think clogs the skin less than coconut/shea/oil-type products. It seems lightweight too! but not mattifying.
Pure Fit Cica Powder: Purchase Link HERE
It’s like a spot treatment or something you can add to products to add in some skin-soothing properties! Interesting! No weird white cast is produced either so you don’t need to worry about adding the paste to your skin and looking like a ghost.
Let me know what you think of the products and the line in general!
What’s your favourite product?
My skin Type: I am acne prone and have combo skin. My skin is usually tight where the cheeks and eye area is and the outer parts of my face. My T zone is oily. My skin isn’t a fan of thick/heavy formulas so I opt for lightweight formulas to prevent it from clogging up. My skin doesn’t like essential oils either and I try to avoid fragrance when I can.
