Where to purchase: From Borntree’s Website: HERE
Price: $4.21 (currently on their website)
Volume: 50ml
Made in: South Korea
What is it: A light Sun Block (UVA and UVB protection).
Good for: They say all skin types. I am a bit nervous about recommending this to oily skins and extremely oily skins as I don’t think this really reduces shine. The Missha Aqua Sun gel does a better job for oily skins. But dry skins / dehydrated skins and skins that want a dewy glow would love this. This is moisturising and does feel like a cream rather than a water essence.

Directions: After the cream stage of skincare. Make sure to apply around the eyes and the back of the hands.
How I use it: As above. I apply on the neck, the ears, around the eyes etc.
White cast?: None whatsoever!!
Key ingredients: Argan oil, Aloe Vera (soothing), Beta-Glucan (moisture), Niacinamide and Adenosine (whitening/wrinkle-improvement), various fruit and flower extracts. Some of the fruit extract is for fragrance and some such as Vaccinium Angustifolium fruit extract is anti-inflammatory.
Full Ingredients: I have put the COSDNA (ingredient-comparison website) full ingredients list so you can see it with accordance to the scores: HERE

Texture: This is a light cream, not an essence. Sinks right in after rubbing down. It is nearly the same lightness as the Missha sunblock gel, just a little thicker. No white cast at all. Excellent. Disappears after rubbing in as well – no sticky oily residue. Moisturising as well. Does give you a dewy glow i.e. no mattifying power for oily skins.
Good under makeup?: Yes! No stickiness.
Fragrance?: Yes. HOWEVER the fragrance disappears after rubbing in thank goodness.
What I like:
- Rubs in very well
- The fragrance disappears after rubbing in (and it’s not that strong to begin with)
- No white cast
- The packaging (tube format) makes it easy to dispense product into my hand)
- No irritation / stinging
- Does not dry my skin out
- Moisturising
- No leftover residue after rubbing in (disappears)
- Nice, thin texture upon application
- I am able to apply around my eyes without stinging!
What I don’t like:
- Wish there was a bigger tube
- More oil control
- Less dewy
- Remove the fragrance all together
Overall: A really good chemical sunscreen. I’m very impressed by it. Those who do not want to look glowing i.e. dewy wont like it. However I have combo skin and I really enjoy using this. It’s absolutely fine in terms of the dew as long as I don’t apply my oily antioxidants underneath this (it doesn’t mattify oil so I look like a shiny orb) but without the oily antioxidants underneath (courtesy of the ordinary), then this looks fine on my skin. Did not sting me the same way the klairs UV essence did.
Rating: 4.5/5 (second to my missha sunblock which has more oil control)
Would I repurchase?: This was gifted by Borntree HOWEVER – yes. This is a very good sunblock. I’d put it just after the missha sun block out of all the chemical sunscreens i’ve used so far.
