[Video] Numbuzin K-Beauty Skincare – MY TOP PICKS!

Hello everyone!

I’ve been testing out some products from the K-beauty brand; Numbuzin, for a while now and wanted to show you my personal picks that I would recommend!

I hope you enjoy the video; I explain the products ingredients, texture, wearability and which skin type would suit these as well as potential formulation and texture dupes!

I hope you find the video useful and comment below which Numbuzin product is your favourite and what other brands I should test out. (Transcript and links are below).

In this video we’re going to be swatching and reviewing products from the K-beauty, Vegan and cruelty-free brand; Numbuzin! I also asked on my Instagram what questions you had in regards to the brand so I’ll try to address as many of those in this video!

These are my personal favourites from the brand, I’ve been testing them out for a while now and would happily recommend them.

Furthermore, all these favs are Fragrance, Alcohol and Essential Oil-Free!

Q: Will these products will suit darker skin? Yes as they don’t contain ingredients like hydroquinone.

The brand is not listed as Halal-certified and their Collagen Serum contains Pig by-products. However the other products showcased here do not.

Now, let’s get on with the video:

Now; first up is the Number 1, Pure-Full Calming Herbal Toner, in a mini-version bottle.

Available at: Yesstyle: LINK / Stylevana: LINK

This Toner aims to calm the skin using Heartleaf Extract and Cica Extract, as well as Allantoin and Panthenol to intensely soothe and hydrate the skin. This also contains Arginine which is a Natural Moisturising Factor to support the skin’s barrier, as well as Betaine to moisturise and hydrate the skin.

This is a simple, lightweight watery and hydrating toner which oily skins may prefer due to it doesn’t feel thick, sticky or greasy, and can be used even in the summer months!

You can see from the texture just how watery this is; this hasn’t aggravated my skin or made it feel congested and I would equate it to the Etude House Soon Jung Cica toner which is also lightweight and soothing. I don’t get a scent from this.

Furthermore, this isn’t a personal favourite, but I wanted to discuss the No.3 Super Glowing Essence Toner (as it’s also in the toner section).

Available at Yesstyle: LINK / Stylevana: LINK

This is one of the brands most popular products and I can see why as the texture is quite unique; it feels like a thick propolis texture on the skin and has that ‘’fat water’’ type of weight to it. It contains hydrating ingredients (i.e. Hyaluronic acid) and is more focused on moisture and hydration compared to the Cica Herb toner. However, this essence (although I wanted to love it) is scented. It’s not a bad scent; it’s floral (and I do not enjoy strong scents in my products). This product does help to make the texture of the skin smoother. Personally, if I had to pick between the No.1 Toner or this No.2 Essence Toner, I would go for the Calming herbal toner due to its exclusion of fragrance. Another similar textured-dupe is the Rovectin Treatment Essence (Review HERE) which is also like a fat water, and works to hydrate and soothe the skin.

My next favourite is the No. 6 Deep Sleep Mask Serum!

Available at: Yesstyle: LINK / Stylevana: LINK

This is a deeply hydrating serum meant to be used in the evening which uses skin-beneficial ingredients such as skin-barrier reinforcing Niacinamide, numerous forms of Hyaluronic acid to penetrate and hydrate the skin, Turmeric, Liquorice and Panthenol which are soothing as well as numerous sugars and peptides which act as humectants to pull hydration and moisture into the skin.

This is very lightweight and not sticky or tacky, it just runs down the hand. It very much feels similar and hydrates just as much as a dupe which is The Ordinary’s Marine Hyaluronic serum (Review HERE) and that too also uses sugars to hydrate the skin. This serum is aimed at very dry, flaky and dull skin due to it’s brightening and hydrating ingredients, however my Oily-combination and dehydration-prone skin really enjoys it. Even sensitive and Normal-Dry skins could use this before applying a moisturiser.

This does not feel sticky or greasy even when it has dried down and is pleasant to use. I don’t get much of a scent from this either.

Next up is the Number 3 Pore Reset Ampoule shot

Available at: Yesstyle: LINK / Stylevana: LINK

This focuses on Oily and congested, blackhead skin. This aims to help reduce the formation of acne scars and also provides brightening and hydrating ingredients such as Niacinamide, Zinc PCA and Retinol, a power trio of ingredients- which work together to regulate sebum production, reduce oiliness and increase skin shedding to reduce skin congestion, blackheads and blemishes, bringing the skin back to a regular condition.

Turmeric is also included as it helps brighten the skin, Panthenol helps soothe the skin and Adenosine, Chondrus Crispus Extract and Sugar Cane are also included.

This can be used as a spot treatment i.e. individually on specific blemishes or just on the T-zone or Butterfly zone if you have large pores or excess oil there, or if you have oily skin all over this can be applied all over but this is a strictly PM-use product only due to the inclusion of Retinol so think of it as a night treatment.

Dry skins could use this as well due to the hydration, emollient texture of this product; it’s a lightweight emollient gel-cream so dry skins could spot-use this product. This is fast absorbing and even for my oily-combination skin; it doesn’t feel oily or greasy when wearing.

This feels very similar in texture to the Kaine Vita Serum (Review HERE) which also contains Niacinamide, Panthenol, Turmeric too and even 2 Vitamin C derivatives to extra brighten the skin. And it feels just moisturising; I use that as a moisturiser in the evening which works well.

And specifically in terms of a dupe for blemishes and congestion; the Clear Skin Days Blemish Paste is an alternative and the Clear Skin Days Mattifying Moisturiser for blemish-prone, oily skins as they too help reduce excess sebum while decongesting pores and reducing the look of blackheads and both contain Salicylic Acid. I’ve reviewed the whole brand in this Youtube video below:

Another dupe is the Geek and Gorgeous Porefectly Clear Serum (Review HERE) which combines Sarcosine and Salicylic Acid to help unclog pores and reduce oiliness; if you prefer a serum texture instead of a creamy emollient.

Last but not least is a lovely cream which is the: No.1 Purple Complex Moisture Balancing Soothing Cream.

Available at: Yesstyle: LINK / Stylevana: LINK

This lightweight gel cream aims to soothe sensitive and sensitised skin through the use of numerous barrier and skin-repairing ingredients such as 38% Chamomile extract, Green Tea, Centella asiatica and Root Extracts. A Key ingredient in here is the anti-inflammatory and wound-healing agent; Azulene, which gives this cream its distinct scent and purple-ish tint!

Hyaluronic Acid is also included to hydrate the skin as well as Blueberry, Aloe which is soothing, Antibacterial Scutellaria Baicalensis, Moringa Seed Oil as an emollient and turmeric also to soothe and brighten the skin.

So overall, this multi-ingredient and multi-beneficial cream really works to soothe, moisturise and protect the skin from irritation and reduce inflammation; it’s a great recovery cream and can be used by both sensitive and sensitised skins.

In terms of the texture; this feels instantly cooling when applying onto the skin. It has a creamy yet lightweight finish and is non-sticky and fast absorbing. My Oily-combination skin enjoys this and finds it comfortable to use in the dry months. I’ve enjoyed the texture as much as the Purito B5 cream and in terms of a dupe; if you like the Dear, Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream; which also uses Azulene as a Key ingredient as well as other soothing ingredients, then you could enjoy this but this is slightly thinner in texture.

Moisturiser Recommendations: See the Purito B5 Panthenol Re-barrier Cream Review:

Further Moisturiser Swatches + Recommendations!

The Numbuzin cream is very similar in texture (slightly lighter) to the Dear,Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream.

In the video: You can see a swatch comparing all the products together and their textures (from thinnest to thickest).

In conclusion: I really hope you enjoyed my favourite Numbuzin picks and recommendations! Overall I have enjoyed the brands product; there are some misses I would avoid such as pig, alcohol or fragrance-containing products, but these picks are my favourites so far. If you have any other recommendations then do let me know!

My Skin Type: I am acne prone and have slightly dehydrated combo skin. My skin is usually tight where the cheeks and eye area is and the outer parts of my face. My T zone is oily. My skin isn’t a fan of thick/heavy formulas so I opt for lightweight formulas to prevent it from clogging up. My skin doesn’t like essential oils either and I try to avoid fragrance when I can.
