Hey Guys! – I wanted to test out some cleansing balms from PR to see what would be my favourite and what you guys would prefer!
In this video, I swatch 3 cleansing balms, discuss their ingredients, their texture and smell and then I put them to the test! By trying to remove makeup. Let’s see who wins.

Products Mentioned:
Wishful Skin Clean Genie Cleansing Balm (Available on Cult Beauty) HERE
Probably the most pleasing texture to me (honestly it is like butter) – it’s like a cleansing balm Laneige Cream Skin, I could believe, would make in the way the texture is. Probably the most ‘problematic’ ingredients list if you are a purist. But I’m not too bothered with cleanses as you wash them off and they don’t linger on your skin (so also don’t expect the beneficial ingredients to remain either). This contains green tea (antioxidant) and interestingly, an AHA to gently exfoliate the skin!
I’m From Fig Cleansing Balm (Available on Yesstyle) HERE
The most chique looking packaging by far. Fig itself doesn’t do too much except for be moisturising. There are other more interesting ingredients like Turmeric root extract. This is the only product of the three that actually contains wax (not an issue) but you can tell it in the texture. No offensive smells either.
NOTE! I also included the Balm and a breakdown of the ingredients along with Yesstyle Haul Part 1
Good Molecules Instant Cleansing Balm (Available on Beautylish) HERE (See the Youtube Video to watch my PR unboxing of Good Molecules product. Fun fact – I have reviewed all the other products in this video (now on the Blog!) Niacinamide Toner HERE, Hyaluronic Acid Serum HERE and Niacinamide Serum HERE
Contains some essential oils for fragrance (not a fan of) but the texture is absolutely fine, and i enjoyed that it came with a spatula and a hygiene tab.
