Hey Guys!
I received the Pixi Retinol Collection and wanted to swatch them and give my first impressions in case you were curious about the products. Hopefully you can find a product that suits you the best, or you can compare it to a retinoid you already have.
I also explain that Retinol is included in some products and not others and that Retinol is a retinoid (vitamin A derivative) so I don’t think these products should be as irritating as either a prescription retinol, or a 0.3% retinol you can get in boots.
All these products contain some form of Jasmine as well (hence the purple theme) which supposedly nourishes/moisturises the skin.
I would say if you have a sensitivity to essential oils, not all these products will be suitable to you, but I explain that and pinpoint the essential oils in which products during the video.
I hope you enjoy the video and let me know what product is your favourite!

Products Mentioned:
Retinol Jasmine Cleanser: the pH is unknown. I’m hoping it’s 5.5 – I must say I like the texutre a lot (should dry out the skin less).

Retinol Tonic: I have used this tonic previously and reviewed it on instagram. The Blog Post review will be uploaded soon.

Jasmine Oil Blend: This does not contain retinol but is included in the set as it contains Jasmine (the key ingredient) – personally my least favourite in the group as 1. I’m not a fan of facial oils and 2. it’s loaded with floral ingredients that I’m also not a fan of.

Overnight Retinol Oil: An interesting product, I would say this is a dupe for the Jordan Samuel Skin Retinol Oil.

Retinol Eye Cream: An intruiging product! I would say an alternative to the Inkey List’s Retinol Eye Cream. This isn’t for oily skin but dry skins.

Retinol Jasmine Lotion: Very lightweight – I think this should be good for all skin types. Contains a derivative of Retinol.

My Skin Type: I am acne prone and have combo skin. My skin is usually tight where the cheeks and eye area is and the outer parts of my face. My T zone is oily. My skin isn’t a fan of thick/heavy formulas so I opt for lightweight formulas to prevent it from clogging up. My skin doesn’t like essential oils either and I try to avoid fragrance when I can.
