Hi all!
I received the Huda Beauty Wishful Skin Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub.
Price: £34
Where to purchase: available on many sites, i.e. Cult Beauty HERE
In this video I will be showing you the Unboxing, my first impressions, my thoughts and a general ingredient breakdown.
I also do live swatches, and also asked my sister who used the product, her thoughts on it!
I hope you find it informative.
Interesting to know that the product is made in South Korea…so is this K-beauty?
Overall this isn’t a bad product but I do have issues with some of the ingredients. I think it is the perfect item for prepping the skin for makeup. But as an overall skincare product, I don’t know if this is better than a peel MASK. However I do think sensitive skins perhaps would prefer this.
NOTE: When I say Sensitive Skins I mean: – Those who can’t handle scrubs with granules in them and – Even those who can’t handle scrubs in powder form. – And those who can’t handle exfoliating acids in a high % (as I suspect this has a low % of acids). HOWEVER those who are sensitive to Fragrance and/or alcohol, I would not recommend to use this product.
Powder form scrub: The Iope Enzyme powder wash.

Packaging:
Velvet-y texture. Big Screw top ridged cap which makes it easier to unscrew and screw.

Comes with a hygienic seal. (No issues peeling off).

Instructions:
Interesting that there is no allotted time on how long this should be used on the skin for.

There are other K-beauty Peeling Scrubs however what sets this product apart from the others is: THIS DOESN’T STRIP THE SKIN/PULL WATER OUT THE SKIN. There is no tight feeling left on the skin. I tried the IUNIK peeling gel and I really found it uncomfortable. Also I really like that this is not only a peeling gel, but has the addition of AHAs and BHA. It has a lot of AHAs in it as well i.e. Glycolic and Mandelic acid as well as fruit enzymes.
This is an all in one physical and chemical exfoliator. I like that concept a lot (an all-in-one product that minimises your skincare routine steps!!).
This is great for prepping the skin for makeup.
Yes there is alcohol – but I’m hoping that it is necessary for the formula.
Yes there is fragrance – I would prefer it was excluded HOWEVER Huda has stated that she put a minimal amount in – and judging from the smell of this and from the opinion of my sister who tried this on her face – we both agree that the fragrance is extremely light.
I also appreciate the 100ml of this product, I think it is a solid amount and should last you a while, especially if you use this 2x a week, I could see this lasting just under 6 months.
It’s weird that there is no % mentioned – so I’m guessing it’s very gentle, good for sensitive skins.
