Price:  £14.32 (Excluding 10% off)

Volume: 50ml

What does it do: To hydrate and brighten the skin.

Made in: South Korea

Who should it suit?:

All Skin Types (Made for sensitive skins) and dehydrated skin. Also Acne-prone/breakout skin which is angry, red and inflamed.

But I don’t think this will hydrate very dry skins enough.

Packaging: The tip of the dropper is curved which actually make dispensation somewhat easier for me. It dispenses a good amount of he serum out. It’s a glass bottle.

Directions:

Apply 2-3 drops onto clean skin. Pat until fully absorbed. can be used morning and night.

How I use it:

I apply morning and night. I don’t usually feel the need to layer. I apply after toning and let it sin kin for a bit. Then all I need is a moisturiser. This is thicker than water serums so apply those first.

Texture:

Liquid (lighter than the Hada Labo Lotion) very very light. Plumps up my skin after dabbing in.

A transparent serum (no green) It drips down the palm relatively quick.
Makes the skin look glossy. Leave it for a few minutes and the serum sinks into the skin

Good under makeup?:

Yes. This was fine for me.

Fragrance: None.  This does not smell like the COSRX cleanser (i.e strong tea tree scent).

Good Points:

  • Hydrates my skin (absolutely)
  • Large volume
  • No fragrance
  • Product comes out in adequate amounts (don’t spend ages squeezing to get the serum out)
  • Reduces the risk of breakouts
  • Suitable for sensitive skins

Bad Points:

  • Not enough for very dry/dehydrated skin
  • No real change in my skin tone

Conclusion: Overall – I like this serum. It’s hydrating. It doesn’t really affect my acne and simply helps to hydrate the skin and supress the chance of an acne breakout by doing as little as possible to disrupt the skin barrier – no alcohol, no fragrance and no acids. I can’t smell tea tree which either means this is strongly diluted (which is good because acne-prone skins can be irritated by tea tree) or there are no essential oils added. I like that this comes in a large volume.

Overall: 4/5
