Made in: Canada
What is it?: A Fragrance + EO Free, Lightweight Eye Cream.
Aims to: Reduce Puffiness, Dark Circles + Fine Lines.
Description: Containing Peptides, Ceramides + Probiotics – this eye cream helps reduce puffiness, fine lines, dark circles and crow’s feet on the eyes.
Supposedly Good for: All Skin Types
What I think: I would agree – I think this wouldn’t work for those with oily eyelids however normal-dry would appreciate this moisturising texture!
Cruelty Free?: Yes
How long does it last after opening?: 6 Months
Packaging: Tube with a thin, long nozzle. Very easy to squeeze out product and also be direct with application.
Directions: Apply after cleansing. Use in the AM and PM.
How I use it: I apply in the PM after using my Niod Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate (Review HERE). I don’t feel the need to apply two layers.
Key Ingredients: Olive Fruit Oil (Antioxidant + Emollient). Green Tea + Caffeine (Antioxidants + De-puff the eyes). Ceramide Ng + Hyaluronic Acid (Hydrating + Moisturising). Panthenol + Lactobacillus Ferment (Soothing).
Methylglucoside Phosphate (”Neodermyl”) – An Anti-ageing complex paired with Amino Acids + Copper. It’s meant to increase Collagen I and III and improve Elastin Production in the skin to improve overall skin firmness and elasticity. The manufacturer is the only one so far who has done studies with this new ingredient, which showed the skin’s elasticity improved after 15 days of use. Hopefully there will be more independent studies.
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 (”Syn-coll”) – a 3-Amino Acid Chain meant to boost the skin’s collagen and protect it from being degraded. Once again, the manufacturer has only conducted studies on this, showing that wrinkles were reduced by 7-12% after applying for 84 days.
Full Ingredients: Water (Aqua/Eau), Isononyl Isononanoate, Propanediol, Dimethicone, Arachidyl Alcohol, Phenyl Trimethicone, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Behenyl Alcohol, Peg-100 Stearate, Palmitoyl Glycine, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Hydrogenated Olive Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Arachidyl Glucoside, Phenoxyethanol, Polysilicone-11, Caprylyl Glycol, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Tribehenin, Panthenol, Sodium Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Glycerin, Isohexadecane, Xanthan Gum, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil Unsaponifiables, Camelia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Disodium Edta, Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate, Punica Granatum Extract, Polysorbate 80, Ceramide Ng, Peg-10 Rapeseed Sterol, Methylglucoside Phosphate, Dunaliella Salina Extract, Glucose, Lactobacillus Ferment, Copper Lysinate/Prolinate, Caffeine, Citric Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Sodium Hyaluronate, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2, Pantolactone, Potassium Sorbate, Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12.
Texture: This has a creamy texture and silicone base at the same time (due to the Shea and the Dimethicone) to create a moisturising, almost gel-cream that still feels lightweight and fluffy. No, this doesn’t run down the hand, but it’s not too thick/heavy or sticky and tacky either. It’s a ”dry” cream which is nice! It means it definitely moisturises the eye. I don’t think it really hydrates the eye as it doesn’t have that watery essence, but it’s great to layer on top of a serum like the Niod FECC.
As you can see this is initially a white cream.
The more one rubs in, the more this product disappears into the skin. Sitting on top of the skin without balling up.
Does this Sting if the Skin has been Irritated / Sensitised by Shaving/Heavy Retinol Use?: No.
Summer or Winter?: Works for both.
Fragrance?: Fragrance + EO Free (smells of nothing).
Good Under Makeup?: If too much is added, this could ball up under rubbing and tugging with foundation or concealer.
How long have I been using this?: 4 Months.
Will I use until Completion?: Yes.
The Effect?: Moisturised eyes. It does help with puffiness in the morning because of course you’re rubbing the eyes (and the caffeine). In terms of elasticity and lines – I didn’t notice a huge difference BUT when pairing this with my FECC from Niod; they have made a good pair to help maintain the skin around the eye’s condition, and keep it well hydrated and moisturised! I like the amount of Collagen stimulating and Elastin-stimulating peptides in this formula so I’m sure it’s been helping maintain the eye area. I think those with more mature skin around the eyes could see a more beneficial difference.

What I like:
- Fragrance + EO Free
- Does’t sting or irritate my eyes
- Well-ageing ingredients
- Great little nozzle – easy application
- Lightweight texture (Doesn’t give me styes)
What I don’t like:
- Not Hydrating enough
- Not the best under makeup
Overall Rating and Conclusion: 3.9 (almost a 4) / 5 – Interesting well-ageing ingredients, nice smooth yet lightweight cream texture AND a cream that I can use if and when the skin is sensitised! Yes it’s not the most hydrating and yes I do like to wear a hydrating serum underneath this, but I do enjoy well-ageing products. I do with this has retinol to add some more scientifically backed well-ageing ingredients into the mix however.
Would I repurchase?: Yes – This was non-offensive and moisturising so I would buy it again!
Dupe?: K-Beauty Dupe = The COSRX Snail Peptide Eye Cream is my favourite (Review HERE).
My Skin Type: I am acne prone and have slightly dehydrated combo skin. My skin is usually tight where the cheeks and eye area is and the outer parts of my face. My T zone is oily. My skin isn’t a fan of thick/heavy formulas so I opt for lightweight formulas to prevent it from clogging up. My skin doesn’t like essential oils either and I try to avoid fragrance when I can.
