Hey Guys!
I wanted to show you and swatch 2 SPFs from Anessa (their updated 2020 formulas) – these are high rated SPFs to give you maximum protection. I thought initially that this was a Korean brand (since I remember seeing it in Olive Young, I automatically assumed) – but no, the brand is owned by Shiseido! So these are 2 J-Beauty SPFs. I want to swatch and review more J-Beauty SPFs in the future.
I do think overall I still prefer Korean SPFs (should I really mention the Missha Aqua Sun Gel again?) but I’m open to finding as many SPFs that I personally enjoy, as I can! for future reference 🙂
These are the two SPFs that in this Youtube Video, I both swatch, discuss and give my recommendations on:
Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Gel A Spf 50+ Pa++++ (2020 Version) HERE

In the video, I disccus both the similarities and the differences between these two SPFs. As I thought they would simply differ in terms of finish, but no – they differ in ingredients and filters too. (Which also explains why the prices are different).

Shiseido – Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Milk A SPF 50+ PA++++ (32g) ÂŁ 21.50
Available to purchase on Yesstyle.com
This Milk was my favourite out of the two. The texture suits my skin type the best I think. But it’s also lucky that this has the stronger protection between the two. I’m definitely someone who both sweats and gets exposed to heat, so a more sophisticated form of UV protection is always appreciated!
Shiseido – Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Gel A SPF 50+ PA++++ (Mini) 60ml ÂŁÂ 29.80
Available to purchase on Yesstyle.com
The Gel wasn’t really my favourite and to be honest, I am worried about reviewing this as I can’t see myself using this consecutively. I think I may use this indoors as I don’t like to look greasy/shiny. I could imagine it being difficult under a mask to wear.
Pleast stay tuned – I will be reviewing these SPFs on the Blog!
MORE SPF VIDEOS:
In this video I review + swatch 3 Isntree SPFs – I will be reviewing the Watery sun gel at least (unless there is demand for full reviews of all 3!)
K-Beauty SPF Comparison:
In this video you can see waht the Missha Aqua Sun Gel looks like in terms of swatch.
My Skin Type: I am acne prone and have slightly dehydrated combo skin. My skin is usually tight where the cheeks and eye area is and the outer parts of my face. My T zone is oily. My skin isn’t a fan of thick/heavy formulas so I opt for lightweight formulas to prevent it from clogging up. My skin doesn’t like essential oils either and I try to avoid fragrance when I can.
