Packaging: Glass bottle! Pump top and lid – very pretty and easy to use.

Directions:
After using toner or emulsion, dispense 2-3 times
then divide onto the cheeks, forehead then chin. Massage to apply.

How I use it: I use this in the AM as a serum. I use this after toning and after my argirelline solution. Then I use this essence (3 pumps for the face and neck), and then apply my sunblock OR moisturiser.

Key Ingredients: ‘Ocean brew’ – apparently a method using 5-hour low temperature extraction (of vegetables – kale/water cress and beetroot) preserving minerals delivered in a high concentration (producing Green mineral water). Garden Cress (antioxidant).

NOTE:Full cosmetic breakdown HERE

Yes there’s silicone in here and yes you can tell BUT I don’t have an issue with silicone.

Fragrance?: YES. And not happy that fragrance is HIGHER up on the list than the extracts from vegetables? There’s vitamin C and vitamin E but I believe them to be used simply as preservatives.

Texture: WATERY. I love how thin and light this is. Absorbs well – I think those in hot and humid countries would really enjoy the texture of this! And it does hydrate my skin (not moisturise)

Extremely wet and watery looking.
It does start to absorb into the skin and hydrate it!

Good under makeup?: Yes!

How long have I been using this?: A month

The effect?: Hydrated skin

What I like:

  • Sits fine under makeup
  • Hydrating
  • Very light/thin!
  • Fast absorbing
  • Non-greasy

What I don’t like:

  • FRAGRANCE
  • Not moisturising enough for dry skins (but that is what the thicker essence is for!)

Rating and Conclusion: 3.9/5 – deducted a lot due to the fragrance. But honestly those who live in hot sweaty climates I think would really enjoy this regardless of the fragrance. I think it would be close to excellent without the fragrance. The texture is like pure water but HYDRATING.

There is a moisture essence which would be better for DRY SKIN as it is more intensive/occlusive. The hydro essence is better for people like me who have oily-combo skins and don’t like thick formulas.
